From the tender age of three I joined a local dance school and from that moment my love of dance began. Every Saturday I would look forward to my lessons in Ballet, Tap, Modern-Jazz and Acro. Every so often on a Sunday my mum and Nan would take me along to a competition where I was able to show my solo’s duets trios and group dances competing against children of the same age. Once a year we held our own school show production. At the age of 6 our dance troupe was chosen to perform at Sadler's Wells in London with a dance routine called ’Lambeth Walk’ and came 2nd place. Following that we made an appearance on Michael Barrymore’s “My Kind of People.”In 2005 I won a place as a finalist in the Miss Dance of Great Britain held in Blackpool. At 16 I auditioned and was offered a place on a 3 year professional vocational course in Musical Theatre at Blackpool called Phil Winston’s Theatreworks. During those 3 years I studied and was involved in all aspects of dancing, singing and musical theatre, completing my examinations in dance and teaching. In the final year of college, I along with 3 other dancers were chosen and performed in a professional Pantomime in a production of ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” at Leatherhead, Surrey being chosen as Dance Captain and cast member for the Rita Proctor Dancers. Since opening Aimee Louise School of Dance we have appeared in many charity events at the Coton Green centre in Tamworth and also open the Tamworths rotary clubs 'Search for a Star' competion at Tamworth Assembly Rooms each year. In 2011 I recently gained Runner up in the I.D.T.A Barbra Sharples choreography awards 2011 in Manchester with our 'Circle of life' Troupe Dance.
